you very much for your interest in Boar Creek Ranch. Our Ranch
is located approximately five (5) miles east of Cayuga, Texas,
adjacent to a 160 square mile wilderness area. Our boar are
predominately solid black or dark brown with strong Russian
lineage and traits.
Hunting will
be primarily from baited blinds. Please understand there is
an element of danger involved in hunting wild boar.
We recommend any scoped deer rifle with 140 grain bullet or
heavier. Bows +50 lb. minimum.
Our hunts begin
on Friday afternoons with check out at noon on Sundays. Well
planned meals are included. We feature the best
in southern cooking, but we will gladly cater to
your wishes. Clean and comfortable lodging are also
included. After your hunt, relax in the Boar's Den overlooking
Boar Creek Lake or read a book from the small hunting and
fishing library.
Total price
per hunter is $340.00 with a $25.00 fee for skinning and quartering
of your hog.
We normally have a 98% success rate
with 100% opportunity using a scoped rifle. We average
one trophy class hog (with large ivory tusks) in every three
harvested.
Fishing
Boar Creek
Lake is a small lake which is managed for large black
bass (10 plus pounds). Careful catch and release
only. No fishing license is required and a small
fishing boat is available for your use.
Additional Hunting
Coyote may
be harvested for $50.00 each. Bobcat may be harvested
for $100.00 each. Cougars are occasionally seen
and may be harvested for $350.
Summer Special
In addition to boar hunting during
the summer months of June - August we also offer the ranch
for private rentals. The summer rentals include lodging,
fishing, swimming, hot tub, and relaxing! Price is based
on the number of guests and number of days requested.

Payment
A $100.00
deposit per hunter is due upon booking, balance due when
you arrive at camp. Balance may be paid in cash,
cashier or business checks only. No personal checks
please.
